Imagine this: after skiing since the first chair and enjoying fresh turns all day, it’s still snowing and the sun is setting, but you’re hungry for more. What do you do now?
After record-breaking snowfall to start December, we are excited to announce that Night Skiing & Boarding has started across Hirafu, Hanazono, Annupuri, and Niseko Village! The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down at Niseko United.
We might be a bit biased, but we believe that night skiing at Niseko United is some of the best in the world! Since the inclusion of Hanazono in Winter 2020/21, we now boast the largest night skiing area in all of Japan. Whether you’re looking to carve deep on wide open groomers, shred powder into the night, cruise along the piste, or practice tricks in a progression-friendly terrain park, night skiing at Niseko United has it all!
With 12 courses and two gondolas open, including the new Ace Gondola, night skiing in Hirafu is a must-do experience. If it’s snowing, don’t miss the chance to ride Super Ridge for some amazing powder turns in one of Hirafu’s top zones.
Opening Hours: 4:00PM – 7:00PM
Get ready to lay down big carves on the groomed slopes under the lights! Annupuri is a fantastic choice with the Jumbo Quad #1 lift operating, whether you’re looking to race down the hill or enjoy a leisurely cruise on the piste.
Opening Hours: 4:30PM – 7:30PM
Hanazono’s Symphony Gondola continues to operate, providing access to excellent beginner and intermediate terrain such as Colly’s Folly and Juicy Fruit. Advanced riders can challenge themselves on the progression-friendly terrain park features located on both courses. Plus, there will be a spectacular fireworks display every Saturday night.
Opening Hours: 4:00PM – 7:00PM
Niseko Village offers the perfect night skiing experience for beginners and families. The Banzai Chair and Village Express continue to spin after dark, providing access to a range of beginner and intermediate slopes. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, head to Niseko-Yo and sample some of Niseko’s finest culinary offerings at its restaurants and bars.
Opening Hours: 4:00PM – 7:00PM
