While Niseko is in the middle of peak winter now, its milder yet equally captivating spring season is just around the corner.
Spring in Niseko has a magic all of its own, offering amazing views and discounts on everything from accommodation to ski hire.
Right now is the time to start planning your trip for the ultimate spring ski experience.
One of the best parts of spring skiing is the weather. Sunny clear skies unveil the majestic mountain ranges of Niseko which are often hidden during peak season. The crisp and clear conditions make it ideal for families, a welcome change from the colder, snowier winter months.
Spring is also perfect for advanced skiers and snowboarders to experience backcountry touring. With clearer skies and milder weather, it creates an ideal setting for exploration.
Resorts are less crowded, resulting in shorter queues, and restaurants have more seats available. Consequently, there’s a higher chance of securing a table at popular spots that are usually fully booked during the peak season.
Most importantly, the discounts available this season should not be missed! Accommodations are generally cheaper, and lift ticket prices also go down starting on 21 March when the Spring Season begins.
For example, the Niseko United All Mountain Pass’s Spring Season 1-Day pass is priced at JPY 6700, compared to the Regular Season price of JPY 9500. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!
