Ski in Niseko through May 7th

What a winter we have had! Niseko was blessed with a beautiful winter full of powder days, sunny skies, amazing culinary experiences, family activities, and more. But it’s not over yet!

Niseko Village and Niseko Hanazono Resort have finished their winter operations for the season, but both Annupuri and Grand Hirafu will be spinning their ski lifts through May 7th! If you like sunny and warm weather on the mountain this is the best time to enjoy being on the slopes. Niseko had plentiful snowfall during peak season, so the upper areas of the mountain will have plenty of snow to slide on.

Get on first lifts in the morning at 8:30 am to carve perfect corduroy, or sleep in and catch some slushy and warm turns later in the day. Moreover, Niseko Grand Hirafu has brought back its famous spring park that features some bigger jumps that attract the best park skiers and riders in Hokkaido. It’s also a great time for beginners as the snow is soft, the weather is warm, and ski and snowboard instructors are readily available.
