Niseko United has joined a stable of the world’s most prestigious ski resorts under as a full member resort of The Mountain Collective global lift pass. Previously a global affiliate, Niseko United will join the Mountain Collective as a full partner for the 2018/19 season, expanding the breadth of the Collective with full partner destinations in five countries, and affiliates in two more.
The Mountain Collective is an alliance of 17 iconic destinations across the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. With the addition of Niseko United and Big Sky this year, each 2018-19 passholder will receive two days at each of the collective destinations, bringing the total ski days available from full partners to 34 days at 17 unique destinations.
In Niseko, this means a 2-Day Niseko United All Mountain Lift Pass which allows access to Niseko United’s four resorts – Grand Hirafu, Hanazono, Annupuri and Niseko Village. Holders simply need to present proof of purchase and photo ID at lift ticket counters upon arrival in Niseko to claim their passes.
Niseko has fast become one of the world’s top ski destinations due to its extremely consistent powder snowfalls, rich Japanese culture and hospitality, world-class dining and “onsen” hot spring baths.
President of Japan’s Niseko United resort Hanazono, Colin Hackworth, said, “The four resorts of Niseko United are delighted to be joining the Mountain Collective as a full partner. The fabled powder of Niseko awaits all Mountain Collective riders dreaming of their opportunity to visit one of the most storied deep snow resorts on the planet.”
The Mountain Collective is now available for purchase for a limited time at $449 USD. The Pass includes two days of skiing or riding at each of the 17 partners plus a 50 percent discount on all additional days with no blackout dates.
Passholders also receive two days at each Global Affiliate Destination, Chamonix (France) and Valle Nevado (Chile). Pricing for kids aged 12 and under is $99 USD for the 2018-19 season, making The Mountain Collective™ Pass an affordable option for families.
The full portfolio of resorts worldwide includes: Alta, Aspen Snowmass, Banff Sunshine, Big Sky, Coronet Peak/The Remarkables (New Zealand), Jackson Hole, Lake Louise, Mammoth Mountain, Niseko United (Japan), Revelstoke, Snowbasin, Snowbird, Sugarbush, Sun Valley, Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, Taos, and Thredbo (Australia), with Global Affiliate resorts including Chamonix (France) and Valle Nevado (Chile).
In addition to being able to ski or ride at these leading destinations, additional benefits available to the Mountain Collective passholders include exclusive lodging deals and a complimentary one-year Protect Our Winters membership, whose mission is to unite the winter sports community on the important issue of climate change.
Passes are available online through an exclusive technology, distribution and marketing partnership with Liftopia at www.MountainCollective.com
